How I Organise My Work Tasks

GETTING ORGANISED…

I’m about as organised as they come - without it I feel slightly lost if I’m perfectly honest. As I work in such a digital arena most days in my business I like to keep things old school when it comes to my day-to-day planning and tasks. BEHOLD... here are the 3 books I utilise very single ‘work’ day!

MY FATHER RABBIT DAY-TO-DAY DIARY

I love that you get a full page with this diary and it’s hella pretty!! Each day I pop personal to-do’s, overall business tasks, I list each client/project with corresponding tasks and then everything that isn’t complete I rewrite on next day (helps me get organised for the next day and prioritise).

Think of it as a revolving list.. if something is on the list too long I look at how I can outsource or just set aside time to nut it out (accounting I’m looking at you!). You can purchase HERE.

PRODUCTIVITY PLANNER

This little gem is the perfect accessory for short bursts of ultimate productivity. You can prioritise up to 5 tasks, set a time intention to complete which is broken into 25 min intervals with 5 min rest and then track. This is a serious gem for clear, concise actionable work! Their mailing list is also one of the few I subscribe to and their five minute journal is also gold. Purchase HERE.

MOLESKIN JOURNAL

The old Moleskin journal that makes me feel slightly like a Charles Dickens enthusiast. This is where I scribble ALL my notes, thoughts, draw up designs etc. This is where I get the “mess” out of my head and into a format I can then start to format. Available at most good book stores or available HERE

It seems like a lot but each serve really specific purposes and help me manage everything with ease.
