I hate to break it to you but social media is designed to do exactly what it's called - be social. It isn't designed from the outset for conversion or the hard sell to customers & there's no guarantees that followers will even see your posts (even if you pay $$).
Think about when and how you use social media yourself - it's often a mindless activity to get inspiration, fill space or check out your ex-neighbours, sisters dog.
